Services

I offer compassionate, strengths-based, and collaborative therapy for adults in the states of Oregon and Washington. I work with individuals looking to process and heal from trauma, develop further personal insight, improve relationships with self and others, and explore opportunities for growth, empowerment, and deepened quality of life. As a white, cis, queer, neurodivergent woman, I am grateful to work with all my clients and recognize and respect the vulnerability, strength, and trust it takes to engage in the therapeutic relationship. I believe that mental, emotional, and spiritual health and wellbeing are a right and not a privilege.

Philosophy & Approach

Much of our suffering comes from a lack of nurturing and life-giving connection—with ourselves, others, and the natural world. When we take time to examine these relationships with the self and the rest of the world, we can find ample opportunities to create new ways of living and making meaning within our lives. Engaging in this process of active contemplation and purposeful change is what therapy is about.

I work from a client-centered, relational, and integrative foundation. This means that my primary goal as your therapist is to meet you where you’re at, and build an honest, authentic relationship that provides a safe space to do the work. I consider your unique needs, experiences, and situations when developing my approach to helping you find healing and satisfaction in therapy. With all of my clients I work from a place of deep empathy, understanding, intuition, and humor combined with an extensive array of therapeutic tools to offer you a relevant and productive environment for creating personal growth, positive transformation, and sustainable wellbeing.

What to expect

An important element of successful therapy is choosing a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and connected. During an initial session we will discuss your goals and reasons for seeking counseling, I can answer any questions you may have about my practice and approach, and we will determine if we will be a good fit going forward.

As part of our initial meeting we will discuss a structure and cadence for appointments that best fits your needs. I encourage clients to meet weekly or bi-weekly, as this fosters consistent and productive therapeutic development. Meeting at other frequencies is also an option when needed and/or appropriate. As a general practice I believe that 3-4 sessions minimum are necessary to establish a cohesive working relationship and create clear goals for therapy. Throughout our work together we will check in about your progress, our therapeutic relationship, and our ongoing work together.

Fees/Payment: My standard fee is $190/50 minute session. I keep a credit/debit/HSA card on file to process payments at the time of each session. I am not an in-network insurance provider at this time. For clients who wish to seek out of network reimbursement from their insurance providers I am able to provide a superbill for services rendered. Clients will pay for services out of pocket up front and then may submit any superbills to their insurance for out of network reimbursement, which is not guaranteed and dependent on individual plan benefits. Cancellations less than 24 hours ahead of time will be charged the full session fee.
